Chair upgrades
Treat a chair purchase as a setup change whose effect must be read from the current in-game preview or measured afterward. Before buying, note the price and any text shown by the interface. After buying, keep food and table choices stable while you record several streams. Do not assume a chair changes Cash just because it looks more expensive.
Table upgrades
Tables are also an official progression category. Check whether the purchase screen describes food capacity, stream speed, Cash, audience reaction, or a purely visual change. If the interface shows no effect, compare before-and-after sessions and keep the conclusion local to the exact table level you tested.
Background upgrades
Backgrounds help express the room-to-mansion fantasy, but no public stat sheet confirms an economic bonus. The launch tier list keeps this category below measured income improvements until the interface or repeated testing proves more. Cosmetic value can still matter to a player even when a financial return is unknown.
Safe upgrade order
Redeem current codes, set a Cash goal, inspect affordable chair and table options, and buy one change at a time. Record its price and measured gain. Use the Progress Planner to estimate payback from that observation. Save enough Cash for the next meaningful test rather than purchasing every category at once.
